In Civ IV you just pressed ctrl+w but it doesn't work in CIv V, so how can I do it?
Thanks

We can't!!?? Can anyone confirm this?

Everyone can.

It was stated several times before the game was released that Worldbuilder would be an outside program. Which is good because the new Worldbuilder is better than the in-game worldbuilder.

Of course, that means players can't cheat anymore.

the "new" world builder is a tossed together rush job and a shadow of the civ 4 one..and you cant run it in game..

The "new" Civ V world builder looks alot like the old Civ III world builder

This is good though, right? As the Civ III WB was (imho) far superior to Civ IV WB.

can anyone post a link where i can DL the worldbuilder. cant seem to find it, only an unofficial one and that wont load :( thx in advance :)

Open up your icon or program "steam client"...once you are on its (opening) home page...
at the very top of that page should be a menu bar where you can view your games...click on the games tab...and view games library...then another screen/window will open...and near the top of that page should be a menu bar with the word TOOLS (3rd menu bar down from very top) once that screen/page opens there should be a black screen with a list of downloads...click on the Sid Meier's Civ V SDK. If all goes well it will be on your desktop after it is downloaded. Click on the SDK icon then on the World Builder ICON and the wait a minute seems like eternity...now there should be a pic of the world/earth with a big hammer over it and 3 buttons, new map, load map
and mods buttons.

I can't even run the new world builder. Long story short, it asks me to install some program valled "Net framework"(which also wouldn't install), and after I finally got Net framework installed after many failed attempts, I try to start the worldbuilder but it just keeps giving an error message.
I hate this, the world builder in civ4 was delivered with the product, and it greatly prolonged the fun I had with civ4. I can't even get the civ5 one to start. :(
