How to add a numeric entity

Hi there,

I'm translating Civ IV into catalan but I've realized that the city bar is not programmed to show the interpunct (·), whose numeric entity is 183

What file should I modify in order to add this numeric entity and make the city bar show the interpunct?

I have seen the "funny" characters from spanisch beeing spelled as for example ¿ for the upside down ?, so pehaps · ?

EDIT: The forum keeps replacing the codes with the characters...

Yes, every character used in catalan and spanish is shwon (as ç, à, è and ò for Catalan, ñ, ¿ and ¡ for spanish and é, í, ó and ú for both). But when I put &_#_183_; (without the underscores, of course), it appears a ? sign in the city bar and I really need to add this numeric entity because there's a unit that uses it.

But I can't see it on the city bar.

How could I solve this?

Oh, i see...

Well in that case, the character for · is apaprently not included in the font the game uses.

I assume there is some way to change the font... Not sure how, however...

There is a file sylfaen.ttf withing Art\Res\Fonts folder... perhaps replacing it with something suitable will help... But i never tried it... so it might also cause some kind of mess...

There is a way to change the font. I'm fairly certain someone posted a tutorial for it ... there are a few users that have released modified UIs (like Coal or Charcoal) that I believe also change the font.

Just search for that modified UI and you should be on your way.
