how to create decalc for flags?

hi everyone,

i try to create a flag for my Bretagne mod, but i really don't understand how it works

when i use the dds converter, i have a white image of the vanilla flag....

if someone can explain me, i would be thankfull

You must edit the alpha channell.

When you decide what will be the symbol of the flag, you must make a mask from it and then save it as the alpha channell.
