Hi, I have all the CIV games and CIV III is still my favorite! I was wondering how I could erase all the high scores in the hall of fame. I use the steam version of civ III. I would like to have like a fresh game with no high scores and start over. Anybody knows how to do this? Thanks.

I was figuring someone else would answer. I haven't tried it, but it looks like the CampaignRecord.hof file is a likely candidate to mess with. Go the the program directory (in Steam, properties -> local files -> browse local files) and then into Conquests and the file is there.

Ok, I just now tried deleting (or rename) the file on my system. It got recreated empty when I restarted the game and looked at the HoF. But this is a new install on this laptop, so it was already empty for me.

Me too, I thought my answer would be too untechnical, but:

Simply uninstall the game and tick the box to included saved game data, then re-install the game. Or was the OP hoping to keep their savegames but just clear leaderboard?

I would think that the HighScores.cv3 you could use notepad to delete entries. You probably can just erase it and CampaignRecord.hof and starting a new game should make a new one. If not, then a reinstall.
