How to force your units to auto-move IMMEDIATELY at the beginning of the next turn?

It is very annoying in multiplayer to receive notifications like "A Colosseum has been built in Delhi. What would you like to build next?" at the beginning of a turn, while in the meantime, your opponent might move his units just where you wanted to place your own ones. If I give an order to my unit to go to a square in the next turn, is there a setting that forces the unit to do that move IMMEDIATELY in the next turn?

And you can go into your game settings and turn off those notifications until after you have moved your units.

This is called "minimize pop-ups". It will make sure the select new building and choose tech screens come up only after all your units have moved. You need to be careful though, since if you don't give all your units orders these screens won't come up automatically, and having cities set to build nothing or no tech chosen wastes hammers/beakers.

If you play 1 vs 1 then you may use turn-based mode instead of simultaneous one. It will turn civ into turn based strategy and then you will not have to stare at your screen at the end of each turn to look for those pesty impis running wild through your empire ;)
