Mongol settler pair wandered into path of my advancing troops however a single advance unit only wounded the spearman. My plan is to add more slaves to my workforce next turn . Wandering Mongol warrior poised to attack an outskirt town; the governor is concerned, but feels the fortified spearman can hold against the counteroffensive. Reinforcements arrived but it looks like French troops are passing by.

GH spotted on the penisula (not a connecting landmass I'm afraid, though tantalizingly close [ie narrow strait] )

More exploring... Looking for new locations for cities.. We seem to be on a rather large continent. Still can't believe the French, Mongols, Chinese, Iroqouis etc, seem so far away. Kind of good though. Gives us something mystic to look for!

GPS quite a while ago.
Got my slaves as expected, but Mongol warrior threatens some of my nonmilitary units. Made some mismoves while hurrying the turn before going to work.
Elsewhere, killed one spearman. Lost 2 swords. Their town still stands because of 2nd spearman.
Wasn't a GH but a barb camp on the penisula. Will have to heal before attacking it again.
