Cheers. Got it but at work, will play it in about 5.5 hours.

Just advanced warning, my second kid is due to be born at some point over the next couple of weeks (well expected to be!!), so if I disappear for a day or so, that will be why.

Shouldn't have too much effect because I only play two PBEM's so I should still be able to squeeze them in, but I might be kind of busy.

Will try and give more notice when it happens!

Created a new city

Think I need to launch a ship now to keep up with the neighbours!

GPS 1000 BC so quick How is/was everybody's QSC??

Forgot at the last second I wanted to take a screenshot of 1000BC and clicked the X instead of the save O and lost what I had done. Had to reload -- no rng events during the turn or anything revealed -- made all the same moves.
Not much else to report -- eyeing a potential choke point/canal city site.

The Aztec capital becomes the Centre of all Knowledge :old: as the construction of the Great Library is completed.

Oh BTW, was is QSC?
Quick Start Challenge is a sub-feature of the Game of the Month.

"The QSC seeks to compare players' performance as they reach 1000 BC, giving scope for contrasts between play styles to be highlighted, and for lessons to be learnt about early game development. To help with comparisons, we [GOTM staff/QSC participants] ask for two uploads: a 1000 BC save file; and a timeline describing your actions and decisions."

I've never actually done it - but 1000 BC is a common benchmark (around gotm) that I keep in mind to guage my perceived progress. It's not applicable here since nobody will be playing from our starts; it was just a random thought (amusing at the time to me) that popped into my head.

The Aztec Nation descends into a state anarchy as the people demand a change of Government. :gripe:
