How to get to infernal pact

Ok I founded the AV however after that point I did not see the tech option of infernal pact..... HOW DO I GET INFERNAL PACT TO POP UP WHEN CHOOSING TECHS TO RESEARCH?

You need to have AV as your state religion to get to it, the same for the other techs leading off of the initial religion techs. In order to get Mind Stapling, you need to have Octopus Overlords as state religion.

Also, the research advisor only shows the techs that are immediately available. Honestly I prefer to go to the tech tree rather than use the advisor.

Also, try F6 for the tech tree.
