How to interrupt auto end turn?

Hello,

How can i interrupt the auto end turn? I have tried hitting the backspace key.

Other then grabbing and waking a unit or switching off the option via options. Is there a key to interrupt auto end turn and have the game wait till i press the next turn button before it starts auto end turning again?

My game never auto ends turns and I play all on default settings.

I would have answered it is under options of the menu, but you already figured it out.
What do you expect, Civ will read your mind, so it know when to auto end and when not to?

I wouldn't say my computer is super speed, but the years fly buy like im in a time machine!

In-game on/off button would be great. Sometimes you see something happening that won't prompt the game to pause but that you do want to react to straight away.

Like a large force coming closer to your borders. I switched autoturns off after watching an invasionforce coming right onto my border but not being able to act untill the civ declared war.

For sure! I have tried clicking on the "Next Turn" button. Even right-clicking on it.
