How to make games longer?

Hello
I don't know if this is in the right forum...can only hope eh?
I was wondering if there was a way to make the actual game longer. I know that early on each turn is a varying number of years, but by the time you get to the modern ages time passes much slower. Is there a way to make it to each turn is the same? or even better, each turn is a month or something?

Hi, it's easy, if you are a LONG game fan, you could try the 'Forever Game Speed', in the Mod Components section. A link is posted below .

Sort of noobish question, how do I apply that Forever Mod to the game? do I put it in the mods folder? or is there another way

No prob . You must place both files in the
C:\Documents and Settings\Tyranausaurus\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\CustomAssets\xml\gameinfo

The words labelled in red are variables, you might have them on a different drive. The part in bold is your target forder, where you should place both files.
