how to make zipped files

does anyone know how to make zipped files so i can put maps in this forum
(i know this is off topic but i don't know where to put it)

If you have windows just right click, select new, and the option to create a zip file should be there, and then just drag and drop the needed files.

Depends on which Windows you're running. If you're on WinXP then follow lost_civantares instructions. If you're on 2000 then use WinZip or one of the clones:
