Hi

I have Civ5 on Steam - can anybody tell me how to play custom maps on it? Is there a special folder they have to be copied to?

Many thanks for any assistance.

uhh... download from Civ V. Then, "install", which you have to do in Civ V. When you are in the "choose mod" screen, there is an online tab, an installed tab, and a downloaded tab (these are not yet installed).

So, install the mod.
Then, when you go to setup, choose the map you want to play on.
If there is a specific scenario with the map, which you want to use, then you also need to click on the little button next to the map (blue-like) so that it has a green checkmark.

Um well - I downloaded the Azeroth map that's feature on the front page news section. I was just wondering do I copy those Civ5 mapfiles to a specific location or can you not do this with the Steam version?

Thank you for assistance.

You need to go to documents/my games/CivV/maps

and place the map there... assuming it is just a map.

I used Civ5 SDK for WorldEditor, so how do I use a custom map & scenario that I made?

I have a few mods I wanna try that say they require the selection of the scenario tingy, but for the life of me I'm not seeing it anywhere. When you say click the button next to the map where is this button exactly on the screen? Are you talking about in the drop down menu of the list of map types?
