When rushing a wonder with a Great Engineer I frequently only receive 480 hammers. On the other hand it's entirely possible to rush the United Nations in one turn for 1000 hammers. I still haven't figured out if the received hammers are predictable. So how does rushing work?
- Is it random?
- Does it depend on the era you are in?
- Does it depend on the era the Great Engineer spawned?
- Do you receive a multiple of the cities base production but 480 hammers minimum?
It's rather annoying if you plan to equipped a low production city with a World Wonder by rushing and still have to produce 120 hammers to get the Taj completed. I like to have my wonders spread for the introduction of Constitution. So answers are appreciated.
