That doesn't work unless you first "uninstall" it with the uninstall thingy on the CD. I have deleted the Civ directory many, many times (in order to get more mundane things done such as finishing my Masters Thesis ) and then reinstalled it and my Hall of Fame still carries results from "ancient" installations, predating 2.08 I think.
Well, that is exactly how I did it If you don't mind sharing, what is your MA in? I finished mine in theoretical psychology and am finishing my phd right now. cheers.

My MA is (well, is going to be... I'm waiting for the paperwork to be finished) in theoretical physics (quantum optics). I don't know if I'm going for PhD in that subject.. I'm looking for something more computer/numerics oriented.
God, I just wish Civ didn't exist for the sake of any academic career I hope to pursue
Lol, same here. Quantum optics sounds very interesting. I don't know a lot about theoretical physics, but I'm interested in it, being theoretically minded myself. The closest I come is reading a bunch of stuff on complexity theory.
Cool,a new chat room
No seriously, it works (deleting the replays in the my documents folder).
It also works both ways. You can save the replays on a USB key and put them in another computer. Great when you upgrade, or have a laptop, or want to spoil a friend's HoF
