Ronald Gordo
Chieftain
I play marathon speed and big maps with few AI Civs ... so the time it takes to create a setler always makes me think a lot about where to start a new city.
Should the new city be close to earning loyalty or distant to occupy an ideal location and capture a luxury?
Is it better a second copy that I can sell or a new luxury to make my people work more joyfully?
The problem is that, even though the resources are separate on continents, there are many luxury, many bonuses and many strategic ones. This reduces the difficulty, reduces the trade and reduces the need to choose the best location for a city.
Is there any way to sensibly reduce the amount of resources on a map? Far below the sparse option?
(sorry for my bad english... it is not my native language and I was busy playing Civilization 1 to attend classes.)
