How to set up a good hot seat game?

Hi i want to set up a good hot set game with three humans. I wNt to have a allot of civs and a long game. Any suggestions?

I would suggest a huge map and perhaps 20 total civs for that request. More than that might get a bit too much for the system later in the game.
