How to take Screenshots?

I am just curious what different ways there are to capture screenshots. Right now I must hit F11 first to quicksave, then F12 to capture. Unfortunately, the game reloads every time I do this and without quicksave, the game loads the last manually created save, which in turn requires me to load again the most recent quicksave.

I do have the autosaves, so no progress is lost, but this seems tedious. Any thoughts? I searched for related threads; found nothing.

You can just change the key bindings, I think.

Else hit the print key (to the right of F12), it will create a screenshot in .tga format (should be convertable by most modern screenviewers) in your Documents\My Games\Civ5\Screenshots folder.

Another solution would be to:

Open PAINT before you open the game.
Open the game.
Play the game to the point you want to take a picture.
Press CTRL+PRT SCR.
Go into PAINT and PASTE the picture.

I think the way I do it is just use F12 and make sure I have no quicksaves.Or you can just change the screenshot key, and whenever you take a picture Steam automatically puts it in the screenshots folder, and then you can go view them whenever.

I changed the screenshot hotkey in Steam because of this. This is a Steam problem and will affect any game that uses F12 for any reason. Just change the hotkey (for best results, use an extra button like Shift or Ctrl to avoid accidental presses).
