So, I remove all these <Italian></Italian> (I never run civilization in italian, so I'll delete it) and instead I add the <Catalan></Catalan> tags, right? And how could I make appear at CvOptionsScreen the option "Catalan" as "Catalan" and not as "Italian"? I just can't undertand this new procedure.
In my translation there are only <
English></
English> and <
Finnish></
Finnish> tags. I mean that you can simply write Catalan translations to eg. English, or if you translate from English, to eg. German tags.
This way:
<English>Thank you</English>
<German>Danke</German>
-> change all <German> to <Catalan>
<English>Thank you</English>
<Catalan>Danke</Catalan>
-> then translate
<English>Thank you</English>
<Catalan>Gràcies</Catalan>
(Of course you can also add Catalan tags so that you will have:
<English>Thank you</English>
<German>Danke</German>
<Catalan>Gràcies</Catalan>
But I liked more to have only English and Finnish in text files - does not take so much bytes.)
HEY! Now I remembered! :-D
In CIV4GameText_Misc1.xml you have these lines:
<Tag>TXT_KEY_LANGUAGE_0</Tag>
<Tag>TXT_KEY_LANGUAGE_1</Tag>
and so on.
You have to add
<TEXT>
<Tag>TXT_KEY_LANGUAGE_*</Tag>
<english>Catalan</english>
...
...
<Catalan>Català</Catalan>
</TEXT>
* = ordinal number of your language (if you replace German tags, it will be 2)
