Open Character Map in Windows, select your font, and you can choose what special characters to use/how to type them.

Finnish/ Swedish keyboards have åöä.

On my keyboard there is the ´ and `(pressing shift) keys, and you type that and then e to make é or è.

I use the AltGr key (the one next to the windows key on the right side of the keyboard). That's what it's there for I use it for the € key next to the 4. For other characters, charmap.exe works a treat.

it haves this accents ` ´ ~ ^ ¨ -> à á é í ã â õ ô (most used ones in Portuguese language)
