How to use Stealth Fighters?

I've got the money and the ability to use stealth fighters but since they can't do air superiority missions I have no idea what to do with them. I can use them for bombing and recon missions but these are things the bombers can do anyway. I don't understand how to get them to engage other fighters or to protect territory/units. How do I make them useful or are they just an expensive toy that doesn't do anything?

Well I all most never use them myself, but thay are half the cost of the stealth bomber so if you needed something fast.. and thay do precision bombing. In the editor you can set them to do air superiority missions.

How to use Stealth Fighters? Simple. Move them into a city building Stealth Bombers and disband them. Check your cities to make sure you never build these useless units again.

They are good for taking out a target early on in a war!

I normaly launch my Spaceship long before stealth, but from what I've heard the Fighters are useless.
