I was the egyptians (on warlord level) and had just finished building the UN. Apart from reducing the iroquois to one city early on I hadn't fought any wars. All the civs (Iroquois, Romans and Greeks) were gracious towards me and I was giving them a free tech and 100 gold every couple of turns.
Anywho, I vote for myself in the election (why would anyone do differently??) and the iroquois vote for me BUT the Romans and Greeks vote for themselves.
As I said I was always nice to them, they were in awe of culture and I was the most powerful civ. So, how do you get civs to vote for you??
