HUGE Medieval Patch

Hmmm.... the status is pretty unclear.... I sort of gave up presenting this as a generic patch, though reading up on the comments in this thread, it might be fun to do just that. The problem is, I'm such a perfectionist, so I want everything to work out... and don't have much time to do it. -Also I'm a bit doubtful as to how much use this will be to anyone else than myself, scenario creation wise. If nothing else, perhaps, inspiration.

Instead, I've been playing with using the foundation, i.e. techs and units for a couple of real scenarios, where all this work has really come in handy. I thank god I don't have to do that tech tree again, but can settle with minor tweaks and whistles this time around :)
 
I don't think it it's that important to have a generic patch, a non-generic scenario can also be used as a foundation for new scenarios. Like you said people making scenarios based on this project still need to do some tweaks on the rules and graphics. On non-generic project this work is slightly larger but the difference is quite a minor one really. When the files are made solely for your scenario it means less work for you and they fit your scenario better.

It seems ill be making a scenario on timeline of the fall of West Roman Empire to the reign of Charlemagne and it really would make the job a lot easier to use this project to base it on. Maybe you could email me a copy of the rough version? :)
