I know that some posts are deleted over time and people lose postcounts, but mine dropped by almost 100 sometimes between this morning and yesterday. At least yesterday, I had something like 3840 or 3850 posts, but now I have been dropped back down to 3760 or thereabouts. I've had tiny ike 2 or 3 post drops before, but this is huge! Any explanation?

That's why I'm trying not to post too much in the Word Assoc. Thread..

Naervod: Just remember that post count isn't everything. I think it may be word association.:)

Perfection: I'm sure you'll live... :p

Inter: I gave you one of these just so you don't feel left out.;)

I know postcount isn't everything, it's just surprising that my postcount dropped so much in one day.

If it's only a number then why are ''some'' people so obsessed about it? :crazyeye:

Oh go on ainwood, if you don't suggest it again I will! :D :mischief:

And If you are implying that you are not one of those "some" people, then why are you avoiding the word association thread to avoid the drop? :hmm:

I don't like false numbers :p

Not strong enough, apparently. :)

To avoid the endless "bring the post count back" campaign.

And also because the post count wouldn't be properly hidden anyway as it would still be in the member listing...

Or rather is not anything of sigificance at all.

When you pass Lefty in postcount, they let you view the mod forum.

Indeed they do. ;)

The thing most worrying me about this whole issue is that I don't think I would've noticed if something like that happened to me :crazyeye:

My postcount didn't go down (even though I didn't even look. ;) )

Does that just mean that first derivative of my coefficient of spam is equal to the inverse of the first derivative of coefficient of unspam.

Lets see:

d(spam)/dx = - d(unspam)/dx
