Hulk

I was thinking all preplaced units, and have only Wonders and improvements to build (All very expensive)...the scenario I would start with would be the Secret Wars, then Secret Wars II, the Infinity Gauntlet...since those are the ones I remember reading when they came out, and I have ALOT of the comics to (I have the whole main Secret Wars, and several of the "Crossovers")

As Far as DC, I HATE DC and will not do anything with those LAME chars...Justice League?? There are only 2 "super heros" at the Table (Aquaman and Flash) the rest are either normal people(Batman, Wonder woman), or aliens(Superman, Hawkman)...

Would you make the wonders produce a certain character at a set number of turns? I think the onslaught saga that came out around the turn of the century would be good scenario. Just about every major and minor character from the Marvel universe was involved in that storyline. I also think that a unique scenario would be appropriate for Civ 3. It could take place in the not so distant future, since in the timeline that Bishop comes from mutants are hunted, and it appears that there is some kind of war raging from the comics. I haven't read any of those comics in years though. I think that the Age of Apocalypse would make for a good scenario, or something similar. You would have to have your different groups. There is the Brootherhood of Evil Mutants, The Forces of Apocalypse, X-men, X-calibur, X-Force, X-factor, Generation X (I think that's what it was called), the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, The Sinister Six (or some group that would bring together various villians from the Spider-man comics). I think instead of having a sh*t ton of X teams running around as their own seperate factions, you could incorporate them into one faction and have the X-teams act the same way as an army would in a normal civ game. You could call the faction Xavier's children or something like that. That gives more freedom to incorporate everything X like into the scenario without having to add a big long list of playable factions. You can't forget about us normal folk, after all we do play a pivotal part in the marvel universe. You would need to incorporate the nations that play a major part in the comics. For example, you would need to have the US military in some form if you wanted to take the position to rid the world of mutant kind or whatever you want to do. The non-mutant factions should have freedom to side with whomever, but the mutant factions should be a little more restricted. The brotherhood should be locked in war against any non-mutant faction and the X-teams, etc. The character's that are just kind of hanging out and don't have a faction, I.E. the punisher, Elektra, Daredevil, the Hulk, etc. should be buildable once you gain access to a certain extremely rare resource. That's why I think that making all of the characters buildable with an extremely high cost would work out better than just preplacing them all over the map. Just an idea. Sorry if my post is too long, don't mean to ramble so much.

Shouldn't this be in a THREAd of its own??:????111oneone?

Sure it should Goldflash, but threadjacking never stopped anyone...

19Delta...your ideas sound great, and if someone makes all those units, you are welcome to use them in YOUR scenario...however, as I have stated 3 times earlier, I will be doing SECRET WARS 1&2 then the INFINITY GAUNTLET series...IF the units get made

also, the "Future" with Bishop(also Forge and Storm's Daughter(name?) appears) is called the Mutant Wars...featured primarily in the comic "What If!?"

no harm done...just didnt want you to waste more effort on ideas unless you want to do a mod or scenario...

besides, I doubt there is anyway we are gonna get all the units I would need

You're right, it would probably take a collective effort from the modders of this community just to get all of those units. By the way, I see something about Bryce. Where do you get it, and is it easier to use than Blender?
