Won 6 times (1-st place) already. Strange, that so few people doing as i am:

1) Only science. Nothing else matters. And mazes moves is even better, then harvesting.

2) Buy a lot of Great People early. Till Univercity you need to have 25+.

3) Try to enter first to new game, so you can buy production at price 100. You can sell it later for about 500.

4) You need to guide newbies in your civ. Even shout on them if they are slow :)

5) Playing market a lot.

6) Build Wonders before researching tech, that obsoletes it.

7) Sacrifice a much for your civ at start. For example, you can solo build Renesaince -- it's important to demoralize other civ at start, so they will quit game.

How do you get food to get all that population you have? Selling science then buying food? Food is never cheap enough to buy in my game.

Fertility Rites, barbarians, selling production, Greats latter in game, ...

I am not going for big city population, so i can wait till price go down.

Hey Roman, I was in at least one game where my civ beat you. :)

After new Closed Borders it happened only once :)
But only 2 times i loose because of other civs moves -- it was before new Closed Border rules.
All other time i simply have no time for game, or even abandon it (sell all i have) and latter return becuse it was no open slots.
