hi everyone im new, and am just bumping around the site not sure where i should post this , but here it is anyway , i downloaded an iso of civwar, burnt it installed it, over wrote the civ4war exe with the exe that reads the disk like the real copy, all is well i can play, but i install the updates, then the hof, and place the dll s in the correct places both in civ assets and war assets, i tried to play, please enter proper cd in rom... i noticed that the war exe had been re writin back to the original so i copid over it again with the crack and it still says insert correct cd.......vary frustrating....

what you ask for is against forum rules here - so you will not find help with your problem.

i know there is no defence for such a thing and i completely understand why a respectable place ould stick to such standards. i hope it is forgiveable , i would like to give some back ground on myself, if to know help, better said then not..... i have purchased all civs since the first one, and i bought civ 4 when u could get it with or wwith out war lords, i bought with out., i went to the store, once i finally found a site for civ games, and tried to buy it but they will only now sell the whole game as a package, along ith beyond...... i didnt have the money to buy the whole thing so i don loaded the exp., instead now i have been playing the civ4 game of the month, and im not sure if im doing the saving properly, i have auto save on but i havent rloaded for anything.... i have one of those pre paid visa s and i ill buy the expansion. i dont know if this proves nobility or not, but i use to be a captain in a clain called RSF , iwas RSF_DIE i hosted all the time and as one of top players, i ment no harm, i couldnt buy it by itself!, thanks.

If I am understanding you properly, you have purchased a valid copy of CIV (vanilla). You should be able to play the CIV GOTM without any problems as long as your copy is patched to the latest version and you are using the correct version of the Hall of Fame mod.

You should be able to purchase BtS as a separate game. Maybe try eBay to get a valid copy-or you can download it through Steam.

However, if you do not have a valid copy of CIV, please purchase CIV.
