i have sent this message 2k support and haven't recieved any feed back. if anyone can help me here i would be greatly appreciative. im pretty computer stupid so if you need to know some details, tell me how and where i need to go to find anything you need. but below is my problems and issues. thanks to anyone
I have installed civilization 4 onto my computer, I put disk one in and then disk two. Once the game installs I click on the icon to play it and the game says this message wrong cd, please install correct disk, hit ok and restart application. So I put in disk one and double click on the icon, it shows a quick screen that says loading and some other languages. Then quickly proceeds to a screen where installation of some more things happens, a blue bar fills the installation bar and then a tab that says done appears above the blue filled bar. I can move the game cursor around and hear music playing, but then the program does not respond and freezes at this point when I try to click on the done tab.
I have gotten online and tried the Radeon patch option, and once I get to the step where you remove the file, again the program either times out or something because the ctrl, alt, delete method shows it as not responding. I have also talked to someone on customer support from your team and they have sent me some link (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...03798-2454-4d4b-89a3-4a47579891d8/msxml3.msi), which everytime I attempt to get to it, the window shows that the page cant be displayed, I am not even able to get to Microsoft.com.
