I cant Talk on Gamespy

IN the lobby and in starting area of the game i cant speak, when i hit enter nothing happens. However I can speak during the game. I hope Im just doing something wrong, anyone have any idea what it is?

You know, I had the same problem a while ago, but I havnt played Multiplayer since then. Ill try soon and let you know.

I had that problem until patch 1.52. It's all fixed for me now. Hope it is for you too.

woow i finnaly fixed this god dam problem. ok first add all the ports in this thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=146735) to ur outgoing/incoming TCP and UDP on your firewall.

* 6667 (IRC)
* 2033 (Civ4)
* 2056 (Civ4)
* 47624 (Directplay)
* 3783 (Voice Chat Port)
* 27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)
* 28900 (Master Server List Request)
* 29900 (GP Connection Manager)
* 29901 (GP Search Manager)
* 13139 (Custom UDP Pings)
* 6500 (Query Port)
* 6515 (Dplay UDP)
* 2300-2400 (DirectPlay - UDP)


next add these 2 ports found in this thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=140752):
- 2075-2079
- 2081

now you should be able to chat in MP lobby, well worked for me anyway
