I Can't Unload my Army!!!!!

I'm playing Japan in the Gandagoosta Harbor scenario, and I have an army consisting of 2 swordsmen and 1 Samurai. For some reason I can't figure out how to unload the individual units in order to switch them around.
Any advice?

Live with it! There isn't a way. Once a unit joins an army they are there for life. It's like a cult

There was a bug long ago in Vanilla, that allowed you to unload units from an army in a boat. I don't know when it was fixed, but since the Mac world is stuck with Vanilla Civ, that might still work.

I think that was fixed. Certainly in 1.29, maybe in 1.21. I've never tried or used it, and if it works it's a bug, as Denyd says.

Isn't that a PTW scenario? Did you get some version of PTW that works for Mac?

There is no version of PtW that works on a Mac. The only way this would work is if the scenario has ben adapted to run in valilla.

dignan42: The gotm does have some dowloads that simulate the ptw world, it's not a perfect clone (as AlanH will confirm), but it's the best available for the Mac world today.

True, but I think you'd have to do a fair bit of work to be able to play anything other than the actual gotm game start files using the gotm mods.

You bring up a good point, a while ago, during the previous administration, there was a plan to make the GOTM enhancements part of a playable mod-pack, has that died from neglect?

It's still in my wish list - I'd love to play random games as the Mongols, for example, or to use the Galloglass again, and I'd like to be able to play the latest conquests convergence changes as well in a random game.

But I'm not a mod maker and those who are have their hands full at the moment. All I can advise is "Watch this space"
