This however should be a pokemon:

The Triangle of Doom. Basically it's a giant triangle with a mean face on it. It's better than the other pokemon if you train it right. It knows Bite, Growl, Splash and Awesome Giant Boat Eating Attack (AGBEA for short) (Basically it eats a boat which causes it to heal to full health and causes damage from the ship's explosion on the enemy)

When I played Pokemon Gold, I chose Chikorita who later became Meganium... he was awesome, but not the best, but still I liked him, along with Lapras and Ho-oh

I once had Crystal. Lost it. However, an old memory in my Gold game had a battle where I was fighting my guy on Crystal, and in his party was Suicune. So I hadn't found the other 2 dogs, but I had Suicune in my pokedex. It was fun chasing him.
In Crystal, I caught Suicune immediately I got my master ball. I should have used an Ultra, he wasn't going to run anywhere... right?
Funny story of one of my old Gold games.... I wasted a Master Ball on a level 24 Ponyta... how dumb was that?

Still, nothing beats Mammoth Tankachu or AK-47saur.
TriangleofDoomian should be an Pokemon though

Now about the Mammoth Tank- Yes the tank on it's own sucks, but mix it with Zone Troopers and a couple more tanks and you've got the enemy commander "browning their pants". Put a Commando in the mix for extra firepower and reinforcing with Firehawks is overkill

Still, in a Pokemon battle, with the AK-47, it'd go like this:

Me: AK-47saur! I chose you!
-Pokeball lands on ground, does not open up-
Other Guy: Hah! Your Pokemon isn't showing up! You know what that means!
Me: Wait for it
-Pokemon examines Pokeball, Other Guy laughs-
-Pokeball opens up-
-ratatatatatatatatatatat-
-Other Guy and his Pokemon is dead-
Me: I won! -loots Other Guy's corpse-

Or Mammoth Tankachu:

-I run away-
-Other Guy calls me a coward and laughs-
-Pokeball opens up-
-Metal hitting ground noises-
-Other guy and his Pokemon is crushed-
Me: I win! -drives tank away-
