During my war against Basium i had Basium hero near my city.I was nearly sure to lose my city so i tried to attack with my trebuchet Basium hero without any hope to win.Anyway i had really a good luck because my trebuchet destroyed the superupgraded basium.Trebuchet got 40 xp is it normal or the calculation for xp were right?

The smaller the odds, the higher the xp you gain. And because Basium is a hero, you get even more xp. So it's no bug, you just got lucky

Yeah... you get nice XP when you kill a buff unit. This is as it should be, and very flavorful.

IIRC it's a x4 XP gain modifier for killing a hero.
