I got nuked!

First time I've ever been nuked in a civ III game! I don't think I can post many details because it's a xotM game. I actually didn't see it happen because attack animations are turned off, then on the interturn two powerful civs declared war on this one evil civ. I thought, "cool...I wonder why they did that?: Then noticed a city, half pop, covered in pollution! I hope they don't do this any more.

I nuked once, because I was owning. Nuked India's capital.

I was nuked before as well... it's painfull.

I had 120 nukes and I fired them all over "my" world....the politics got to my head!

Ah to have the SDI. Been nuked a few times and usually many more than one icbm or tactical.

If I am going to face nukes, I will have a large crew to swoop in an road and then rail all tiles in one turn and clean pollution as well. Then add some workers to get the pop back up.

Get the workers and all units out of the area so the next one does not kill them. Sometimes conquest maps just take a long time.

I personally have never been nuked. But in one world map, I was the French and controlled France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, England, and Argentina. Theere was now way for me to win begause i turned all victory conditions off so he was wining in points. So I attacked and captured some of their cities, and finally Built a nuke. I n oued Samarkhand and i spent 15 minutes clicking out of declaration of war messages. The only people who didnt declare way were the remenants of England, America, and Russia. Now that sucks even more.

I was nuked myself last night.

Interestingly, it happened in my first ever Emperor win.

I had to attack the Iroquois to destroy their spaceship and in the opening days of the war, they nuked 3 cities. They nuked two more before I won the game.
