just as it happens i was forced to play a go tournament after some years of tournament abstinence. in the last years i only played go for fun at meetings - half drunken.
but today i was reminded just how beautiful this game is.
so few easy rules result in one of the most complex games there are.
no ai can beat high level players yet and no change in sight. so imho also for civ or other games no good ai in sight... ;-)
sorry to talk about a board game here... i follow the strategic forums quite a bit... and there is lots of complex stuff involved - so are the rules. therefor its just not that beauty of a game ;-)
