I miss the point in popups that won't close...

Is it supposed to make me want to buy whatever garbage they are peddling? Is it supposed to make it hard to read the threads in a forum since they freeze on my screen? Stupid mother****ers. Oh well, pointless complaint eh?

All pop-ups should close one way or another. If they come up in a new window, that window can be closed.

Some ads are very hard to find a way to close, but it's usually there. For example, a while ago there were some The Sims ads, and they didn't really pop up in a new window; they just appeared on the screen. I could never find out how to close them until I noticed in the right-hand corner in small font, in a white color that's almost impossible to see, the word "close."

AFAIK, there's no such thing as a pop-up that can't be closed.

I've found popups that wouldn't close. They had a close button, but it was behind the edge of the screen, so I had to scroll over. But when I scrolled, the popup moved too! I had to close AOL to get rid of it.

'Alt F4' is a surefire way to kill em' off... Well, most of the time anyways...

No no, I hit the close and they freeze or if I right click in my taskbar to close they freeze along with the right click menu. Ctrl Alt Dlt let's me close it but it also closes my CFC window.
