I need a video card

I really want to get Civ 4, I mean really want it. I have everything I need on my computer except the video card. Does anyone know where I can get one? The only complication with getting it is, my computer doesn't have enough memory to let the game work well, it will go extremley slow. I have just barely enough to get the game to work but this is a problem. So where can I get a video card and something that will up my memory. I assume external RAM but is there anything different. BTW, my dad isn't about to buy me this stuff so the cheaper the better and the less risk it is to my computer the better.

For where to buy them - most places that have computery looking stuff in the window. Shop around for the cheapest as I am doing
