I need help guys

1st: Ok this just sucks..... I downloaded The Attack Chopper made by Moeniir.... I havent gotin to the Advanced flight tech, so i dont know if it works. But I do know that I cant edit it it with the Civ3edit. It just doesnt appear in the "units" edit window. Is that normal??
2nd: I need someone to tell me what programs I need and what im supposed to do with them to make my own units. I need it in simple step by step discriptions so i can understand what to do.

Can any one help I need it

i) u need the hacked editor. open this, click ADD. add the attack chopper (i called it apache gunship).

make sure there is a file in art/units/attack chopper (or apache gunship)

copy all the helicopter files in there, as well as all the attack chopper files.

open the .ini txt file, and rename them as appropriate.

that shud get the unit workin.

Also, u need to do civlopedia and pedialicons...check the tutorial for those.

Ive done what you said. In the editor is it supposed to make all the info on the chopper pop up?? Or do I need to put that in. And why is the little icon still look like a settler? And what do you mean exactly about the pedialicons and the civlopedia Hehe yall must think im dumb:crazyeyes Thx for the help so far.

Some say you learn by teaching others. Good for ya, Lavindathar!!

The unit icon appear as settler because its the first unit, this always happen when you use to ADD button in the hacked Civ3Edit. If you want to add your own unit, I would suggest you download Civ3CopyTool by Gramphos. It duplicate a new folder with all the files copied and it even name the folder as the new unit you add
