I Need Help With Unit Creation (graphics)

Hi and Thanks in advance.

I have created a specialist worker, i did it by coppying the original worker files and then just modifiying the ablities in civ edit.
Now I would like to customize the colors of the new unit and not have it use the civ-specific colors, is there any way to do this without using a graphic editor (photoshop 7) and changing each pixel manualy? eg, i want my specialist to always be in white cloths when my civ-specific color is blue or green ect...
