Clear jungles with nukes. I like it.

Sure! You can clear mass jungle with Nuclear Weapon but it would cost you a lot more than clearing them the conventional way. For example, first you must build the nuke - it's not cheap! Of course, the cost of cleaning up pollution is at least equal or more than the cost of clearing the jungles. Therefore, you would be better off just to clear up the jungles in the traditional way to begin with.

If you think your workers have too little work then nuke yourself and make them get off their lazy butts and clean up the mess.
Also, if you nuke a desert tile I think it should now be classified as "glass".

Global warming is sorta misleading. Really, what it does, is it "dries" up the terrain. I think the terrain dryness ranking from wetest to dryest is

I don't think nuking the coast creates more land. It just kills anything in the sea. (Hopefully the fish won't die) I have tried it before and all it does is waste a nuke.
I think Moonsinger or someone actually created a strategy for turning ANY coast tile into a desert tile-- but you have to have quite a few nukes.

Also u still get the rep hit round the world for using nukes, and global warming will show its ugly head, turning nice productive grassland into barren deserts.
