LOL 1000+? Darn, I thought I had alot with my 20. If you can't fix your computer wipe the harddrive!! Also if you computer is running on a network, check all of the other computers, Spyware is a very tricky thing to get rid of!
That was back in June.;) After 10 scans it was just about gone. I checked again the next morning and it had 400 objects on it. :crazyeye: I went with a fullout assault on it. ;) Now the computer has Spybot, adaware, Spyblaster, and spyguard on it. :D I'm gonna buy adaware SE Pro in a couple weeks.

Good Lord man, you've got a mess....

Adaware and Spybot are fine, but you're gonna need a couple other utilities.

First thing is go to http://www.intermute.com/products/cwshredder.html and download CoolWebShredder.

Next go to malwarebytes.biz and download AboutBuster.

Make sure Adaware and Spybot are updated.

Clear out all temp files, temporary internet file and cookies.

Restart in Safe Mode, and if you are running ME or XP, disable System Restore.

Run Spybot. Restart in Safe Mode.

Run Adaware. Restart in Safe Mode.

Run CWShredder. Restart in Safe Mode

Run AboutBuster.

Restart in normal mode and run Spybot and Adaware again.

Restart. That should take care of it. If not I still have a few other tricks...namely HiJackThis.

If anyone else uses the computer and has a profile, you will have to repeat the process with that person's sign on. CoolWebSearch and couple of the other things you have showing on the SpyBot and Adaware logs hide registry values and keys in the user profiles.

After you have the computer cleaned up, download SpywareBlaster from Javacoolsoftware.com. It will help prevent some of this garbage.

You will also have to change your surfing habits. One easy thing you can do is X out of pop-ups rather than clicking on the Close Window link.

And I've got more where those came from.

And glad to hear you have your brother's machine cleaned up....IIRC it was in pretty sad shape.
