I want AI to make much BIGGER armies

Hi,

Well I like Civ4 but it annoyes me that AI build to few units. I want AI to make BIGGER armies so it would be much more challenging.
So what should I mod to make AI more military units??

Mod-wise. In the leaderheadinfos.xml file, one of the tags is "build unit prob" its listed as a %. You could always go through all the leaders and increase that %. It obviously would mean the AI would build wonders and buildings less and is much more tedious.

I would just play at a higher difficulty.

Play at a higher level. There's nothing wrong with the way the AI builds units, I've seen stacks with over 50 units in them.

Same. I recently had a game where ~40+ unit stacks where coming at me. Even at Noble level there are so many units late-game.

I was only saved by technological superiority and lots of siege (collateral) and mounted (flanking vs their siege) units.

I had Stalin running around with a stack of ca. 90 units in the renaissance on noble. Just owning Civ4 complete for some weeks I had no chance

Try a lower difficulty or go for faster wins. I generally wait around cause i like to enjoy my games and not win immediately. But the game i was talking about was almost constant warfare. I warrior-rushed Asoka, axe-rushed HC, and attacked Joao with maces. Then the game went to hell. Toku declared on me, JC declared on me; Survy was close to declaring... I managed to crush Joao before JC's 50-unit stack of Praets, Maces, 'Phants, and Cats reached me, and got peace after crushing his stack (he took a city and i suicided trebs), but the war with Toku lasted for a while, and he got Sams (~40 unit stacks of sams, knights, and crossbows is devastating). I got peace, got rifles, and then attacked toku (CR2/CR3 rifles, and my tech path placed me 2 techs from Assembly Line) but he got rifles after i got infantry. Toku capped to JC, starting another world war which ended when i crushed another 50-unit stack from JC and defeated Toku. Survy vassalized to me, and i started another war against JC, and i won with infantry and artillery against rifles and cannon.
