I want the music in CIV 3

Good, I got it, glad you mentioned how to make them play in the right order I was wondering about that, forgot to ask.
Im playing as the Celts. I was already thinking of adding some Rood and the dragon for the middle ages. Now I can have a fresh soudtrack most of the way through, Ive never attepted this many turns.

,btw I have to say quickly how impressed I am with the work done on this project. The pedia and all its selections are are both fully complete, Im eager, it looks like Im going to learn and be kept intrigued with all the support given to the improvements and units, I wish I could be Ireland though! Right now she sits on my mantle (Civ content)with my other trophy mods.Thanks for the 'addition' and helpful advice

To clarify I do have the game, just not in my house. And I dont want to hassle with installing the whole thing.

Well, you'll need to get the discs, install them on your computer, copy the files off, and uninstall Civ3 if you don't want it on your system.

As for anyone uploading them, that would be considered piracy as far as we're concerned here.

I actually like the music from Civ4 better on the whole, but I listened to the Civ3 music for a good long time in-game. MesoAmerican1 is my favorite overall.

Does anyone know if this is all original Firaxis music, or if some of it originated elsewhere? I know Jeff Briggs is very talented with music, but I can't actually recall ever reading that all Civ3 music was Firaxian.

Coincidentally, I was listening to some (Medieval) Early Music the other day (I'm a very big EM fan); I am certain it is one of the pieces played in the MA age of civ. I want to say that it is "Rossignol", but that is probably not the complete title, there are a good many pieces devoted to the rossignol (nightingale), & I don't remember the composer. Probably our old friend Anonymous It is the slow, lute piece, IIRC.

So no, not all of it was Firaxis-composed.

You're right - I YouTubed it and found out that that piece (NightengaleFull.mp3 in Conquests) is La Rossignol by Anonymous. There are a number of lutists who play it on YouTube, although I've yet to find the Conquests version.

I looked up MistressWinter.mp3 as well, and found out that it is Mistress Winter's Jump by John Dowland (1563 - 1626).

The rest don't have descriptive names in the title, so finding them may be a bit more difficult .
