Who do I talk to and how much would it cost?

I don't know but I thought the same thing today: if someone want to make a movie about SMAC, or just write the script, first thing will be to buy the rights.

In that case he, and Alpha Centauri, are screwed. Electronic Amalgamation ain't gonna give up such a crowning jewel, whether or not they ever intend to butcher expand it.
