Roads need maintaining made my worker always do nothing but wait for money.
Luxuries is important than food, it can reduce speed of building new cities, and can made me lose.
I conceded one game because of annexing 4 Rome cities. I was over, while Rome still alive.
The great scientist becomes a "bulldozer driver", building something like a tomb on tiles for increasing 5 points of tech, which made him cost 50 turns.
As far as I know, techs points mainly depend on how many populations, and 5 populations is worthy of a great scintist.

Actually, I haven't finished a game yet. I feel I am not so addict to Civ 5 just as Civ 4. Maybe I have got old, I am almost 28 years old already, and blunt at playing a totally new game.
