Washington Post!!

The United States of America are very enraged about the coward attack from Japan. However if the Emperor wishes to test his might with a whole continent we will give him what he deserves. Our most wise president still questioning himself how on earth a civilized country can ally himself with the agressive germans. He further wishes to proclaim that the US did not start this war but we will finish it. Together with our allies soon we will march trough Berlin and Tokyo than peace will reign again in the world.

Also we proudly announce our first victories at sea as our navy discovered german submarines around our coast and japanese ships. It is no question that we immediatley destroyed them.

In our most wise leader president Markus we trust also in our allies and a little bit in god too.

One last note for our allies:
Hold on soon american reinforcements will arrive.

It's Ironic Warrior/JuicyCivNewbie's turn as the British. I emailed both names.

Damn, no response ??

This scenario looks so great, i really want to play it :cry:

IM, you want to do both the U.S. and Britain? It's a hefty job, but you did say you wanted to get some experience in PBEM's.

The only other allied player would be me, so I guess I could do Britain if IM doesn't want to.

That'll do. Make sure you have v3 of the giga scenario. A link is in the thread somewhere if you need it.

I already played my turn.
Some japanese troops were killed. (not much) Other units in the area fortified.
The Axis cities of Brest (with tons of planes in it, like 15), Bergen, Oslo and Trondheim were emptied, not yet occupied.
(btw., the scen is really HUGE )

Soviets----->Darius
Japanese--->sas
Axis --->Tracid_00
Chinese ---> needs someone
Americans-->Imperial Markus
British ------>Yop73
Neutrals---->AI

BTW, I thought I'd remind you all of a problem. When China is controlled by the AI, all of their armies leave the safety of their cities. This means that the jap player can just evade the troops, take the cities, and they will all disappear. Therefore one of the three allied players has to play out the Chinese turns. Preferably IM since he goes after China, but anyone'll do.

Tracid, could you check the UK file and see if you've Ctrl-N'ed? I saw a AA Battery of yours bogged down in a forest for no reason, and I don't want to play out a long turn to find out I have to do it again because of a Ctrl-N problem.

I´m sure I have, but this happens often to me...just go on though.
won´t be able to get to a Civ-able comp until friday.
It´s fine.

By it's fine do you mean you'll play out the turn even if you did have a Ctrl-N problem? Note that the British slaughtered 15 or so units in Brest because it had no AA battery due to the AI moving them, and three other cities were emptied due to the AI moving them. This happened in two other giga 2194 scenarios as well (and this one when we did regular 2194), where AI movement of AA batteries allowed unrealistic successes for the Allies. Frankly, I'm not playing my turn not only for your sake, but for the sake of balance in the game. Please pst a Ctrl-N'ed turn.

Yop, do you remember seeing anything weird? Also, do you remember there being an AA battery in Brest? There is one in the beginning of the scenario, and if there wasn't one when you attacked then we know the AI moved it.

Look at these screenshots; I'm convinced the AI moved your units, unless you had a whole lot of typos.

BTW, the arrangement we've made is that I play out sas' turns if no one else offers to sub for him while he's gone (for those of you who don't know, he's on vacation for three weeks). I hope someone takes Japan for these weeks, but if not I'll try to be objective and not let there be a conflict of interest.

That is enough, as he had one there originally. Tracid, do you remember moving the Brest AA battery? If not, then it must have been the AI.

Also Yop, do you remember seeing this wall of AA batteries:

Ok, on Thursday, June 20, I will be leaving for a three-week vacation that will end on July 11th. On most of my PBEM's I will get subs, but for this game and a few others I decided not to since they are moving so slow anyway that it'll be two weeks until my turn. If surprisingly this gets going quickly, you guys can try to find somebody to play it, or just have the player who is playing one of my allies.

I may have civless internet access a few times while I'm gone, so I can still see what's going on and talk strategy with anyone who takes over for me here if that happens.

Thanks.

I did not move and AA units, and the turn IS CTRL-Ned. I c hecked and rechecked. I can post another one, but I am 100%.
