Hi Guys!

My Maths sucks so i just wanted to ask-

Is it possible to get 10 cities with (minimum) 5 shields per turn using ICS Preferrably late Ancient age?

Asked this cause i was thinking about some strat i wanted to use

It depends on the area involved. If there are more than a few mountains, it might be hard to feed everyone and get the shields. Also depends on the era, railing really boosts food input. Also, government matters, in despotism the food situation can get desperate for ICS areas. Weigh the factors, but it should be possible.

On a huge map, yes.

With this pattern, you already have 9:

cxcxc
xxxxx
cxCxc
xxxxx
cxcxc

Add some bonus grass, and the 10th should be possible as well.

Each city gets 4 tiles in ICS, 4 mined grass or irrigated plains should do the trick, the bonus grass can offset the 1 shield lost to corruption, in some cities.

I'm assuming this is meant for AA though, by te time you get to the IA, I don't see how this is going to of much use.

On smaller maps, especially tiny, your second city will already have so much corruption you need it to grow larger and have multiple bonus grass to get to 5spt.
