I have been considering for a long time a mod based on the American Revolution.
My idea for this is that there would be 3 possible starts, one as Virginia, one as New York, and one as Pennsylvania. In each start, you would be the only major American civ, with Britain controlling Halifax, Montreal, Boston, a few minor cities, and Florida, while Spain would control New Orleans, Havana, and some other territory.
For starters, I would need a good map of the Eastern Seaboard.
Secondly, I would need to create 14 CityStates (one for each of the 13 colonies, plus Vermont).
Thirdly, I have considered a mechanic where once you gained the alliance of a CityState, they are merged into your empire as an unannexable puppet.
The only real problem in this equation lies in the fact that I have no Lua knowledge, no Lua experience, and neither the time, energy, or capability to learn it anytime soon.
Therefore, I cannot make this work without a partner with Lua experience. In recent times, I have tried to avoid "partnering up", but I see it as unavoidable.
I would greatly appreciate the help of anyone with the capability of helping with this little project.
