Idea for moderator action messages

If I'm to send PMs out for mere warnings, I'll have no time for anything else (incl my own posting)... considering the heavy traffic in Colesseum.

I'll only send out PMs for bannings and for extreme warnings...

I'll go you one better. I got banned by AoA for flaming and I didn't notice that until the next day (no pm or email, while my pm box was empty and my email works just fine), when I tried to post a message and found out I couldn't. I spent the next hour trying to find out why and then I stumbled upon the thread I had flamed in and saw AoA's action....

Forum hiccups have been know to eat both PMs and e-mail sent by the site, the sender would not know unless he has used message tracking. Rcall all the thread notification e-mail that were resurected when the new server came on line.

The forum is a pretty hungry place eating all our PM's and such!

And yes, XIII does PM warnings. (i know )

I once came to the forum and found I couldn't post.... Then I realized I awsn't logged in. That's as close as I got to a ban.

And I only got a PM from a moderator once - From Lefty when he wanted to seperate my holocaust thread from 2002 into to different threads.... I still kept it untill recently when the mafia games forced me to clean my PM box a bit.
