Idea for the next demo game

I have an idea for the next demo game. I'm sure this is being done ay another site but...

We should have an INNERsite multi demo game. I'm bad at explaining things, but more or less we divide up into 4, 6, 7 civs or whatever, and us fanatics play the game kinda like how the intersite multi game.

Bah that sucks, but I hope I got the main idea across.

I got the general idea but... How the heck could we get enough people? We have a lot of trouble filling the slots for ONE civ, let alone 4.

Sounds like the Civ2 team demogame over at GC. I think that it would be fun to do with Civ3 too, but I suspect that talking TF into supplying enough new secure fora would be an uphill struggle at best. I also think that it could be a mistake to actually replace the SP demogame with such a thing, since it would be a very different beast which might well not appeal to a number of our dedicated citizens.

@40J - IIRC, but lately I have seen it being slow.

They are doing something like this at Apolyton. They have 6 or 7 teams that play a PBEM game together. The thing is though, Apolyton has TONS more people than we do. If we can consolidate some of the positions it might work, or if we had each team write their own Consitution it would work.

Also, if we do have this, we should alsohave a regular forum.

Why not make an entire new forum? There are tons of free forums systems out there that can pass-word protect rooms and takes less than 30 minutes to set up. Just tell TF what were doing and supply a link back to CFC and we'd be in business.

Yeah, I tried getting a RepGame going, but people weren't sending the saves. Isn't that right Eklektikos? I should do something like the MSDG (Multisite Demogame) with the timeclock.

Hey, I only ever even got my hands on the save once and then the game died in the custody of someone else. I'm innocent I tell you!
