A building and a world wonder costing about the same amount of production?

Other than that, it might be an interesting addition IMHO (not sure if balanced), but these late game techs and buildings... 90% of games are decided well before this era.

To be fair, that's a really bad wonder. A handful of yields and 2 great scientist points for a modern age wonder?
I mean if you had 20 cities with researchlabs it would take you 100 turns to make up for the production-cost.
 
I'd suggest adopting bouncymischa's future worlds mod. Worked well for me in vanlilla civ. Of course you need to increase the amount of culture required for a culture victory but other than that I don't forsee any real compatibility issues since the end of the tech tree seems rather similar.
