Ideas to improve Kuriotates

The Kuriotates do not need anything new except AI work, but I like some of the suggestions I'm seeing here.
Giving them a Supplies unit sounds like a great idea, because it give them the ability to put in buildings that are required for unit upgrades. Xienwolf's manual says that you can used priests to build temples in settlements, so the additional ability to build libraries and forges shouldn't be a problem.
Giving their units random racial promotions also sounds cool, except: is the ability to build improvements in forests tied to elven workers or the elven civilizations? Because if it's tied to the workers that possibility would be way too overpowered.
The one other thing that I think would be neat for them is a mid-game production-based version of jewelers and tailors, probably providing a health resource. They don't need any early game help, but a slight production boost later on would take the sting out of no longer being able to expand.

No, the ability to build in forests is not civ specific, and has nothing to do with the race of the unit doing the building.

I personally would like them to have supplies-like units to force buildings in Settlements (using normal supplies won't work, as it uses the building field instead of the ForceBuilding Field, and so can only build things that a city could build anyway, which for settlements is nothing. For it to be balanced it may need to be 1 unit per building, with the same requirements and cost as the building plus needing to be in the capital city.) In fact, I've already added it for several buildings (Libraries, Markets, Carnivals, Theatres, Palisades, Walls, Tax Offices, etc.) although I hadn't thought of it for unit upgrades.

You could also try making units build things there though spells.

I would really like to see Cardith given the Tolerant Trait and making it so that conquered cities would remain normal cities instead of gaining a third ring or being reduced to settlements where everyone starves to death, and making these cities not count against the city limit (or maybe just not count as much).

To be clear, this thread does mean to focus on helping the AI, not the human player. I was just giving ideas to help the AI, and having automatic defenders with hold seems themeatic, and helpful for AI defense.

The settlements don't receive the same bonus's that cities do due to no walls, or much culture.

What about making the AI settle settlements with high priority on hills?

I agree that the AI needs to be thaught about Kurio special features cuz right now they play them like any other civ and they suck, some great suggestions in here. the supplies idea to build stuff in settlements sounds good as well :)

Settlements are too small to have any efficient use for a library and buildings like that, if the people want a library they would go to the neareast mega-city, that is the essence of the Kuriotates.

I think settlements should start with a palisade but be unable to get any other buildings, except the temples, which for argument's sake can be considerred to be minor shrines I guess.

I am strongly against settlements getting more buildings then that.
